Lavender | Peppermint | Lemon | Tea Tree | Eucalptus globulus

If you are not familiar with Eucalyptus essential oil, you will be surprised to know that most liniments, vapor rubs and cough drops contain it. Eucalyptus has long been used in treating coughs or respiratory congestion in products like Halls cough drops and Vicks Vapor Rub. Because of it s rich content of 1.8 cineol, it offers a solution for clear and healthy breathing. (Do not use Eucalyptus if you have Asthma.) Eucalyptus is also a wonderful air purifier and can be diffused to kill germs in unhealthy environments.

How does Eucalyptus globulus work?
Antiseptic - Inhibits the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria or fungi.
Expectorant - Promotes and facilitates the secretion or expulsion of phlegm, mucus, or other matter from the respiratory tract.

A local Eucalyptus species in the Blue Mountains of Australia. There are over 800 species of Eucalyptus in the Blue Mountains! They are named The Blue Mountains because of the blue haze that hangs in the air in the right light. This blue haze is said to be the essential oil of the Eucalyptus trees.
